Troubleshooting

How do I stop the app from freezing, buffering or restarting?

 

To solve any of these problems, please follow the troubleshooting below

  1. Ensure that you have adequate bandwidth from your ISP (Internet Service Provider). A minimum download speed of 100 Mbps and 35-40 Mbps upload speed is required per connection.

  2. Access the SETTINGS menu.

  3. Go to the APPLICATIONS menu.

  4. Then select the MANAGE INSTALLED APPLICATIONS menu.

  5. Select your installed app.

  6. Once open select FORCE STOP.

  7. Scroll down and select CLEAR CACHE.

  8. Once the data has been successfully cleared, scroll up and select LAUNCH APPLICATION.

  9. The app will reboot and you will be required to login again

  10. The above steps should resolve this issue. If problem persists consider the below optional troubleshooting steps in order.

  11. (Optional) Consider power cycling your Fire-stick by unplugging it from its power source for 15 seconds and plugging it back in.

  12. Once you’ve logged in monitor the service and see if the same problem persists. If the problem still persists then the issue stems from your ISP through what’s called BANDWIDTH THROTTLING. This type of issue will require a VPN for an uninterrupted viewing experience. And may need to call your internet company provider.
