ROLLE TV NETWORK FIRESTICK SETUP GUIDE

Please follow each step carefully and check them off as you go.

 

STEP 1

REMOVE OLD APPS

1. Go to Settings

2. Select Applications

3. Select Manage Installed Applications

4. Delete any old apps such as
   Zeus
   Thorium
   Unlimited
   Any previous Rolle TV apps

5. Restart your Firestick

 

STEP 2

INSTALL THE DOWNLOADER APP

1. From the Firestick Home screen, select Search

2. Type Downloader

3. Download and open the app
   Orange icon with a white arrow

4. When prompted, click Allow

Once Downloader is installed and open, continue to Step 3.

 

STEP 3

ENTER DOWNLOADER CODE AND ENABLE SETTINGS

1. Inside Downloader, click the URL box

2. Enter 9123307 and click Go

3. If a message appears that says Settings or Cancel, choose Settings (This will take you directly to Developer Options.)

4. Turn ON ADB Debugging

5. Turn ON Install Unknown Apps

6. Select Downloader

7. If it says OFF, click it to turn it ON

Press the Home button on your remote to return to the Firestick Home screen.

1. Open Downloader again

2. On the left, select Files

3. On the right, select Rolle TV

4. Allow the app to download and install

Once completed, continue to Step 4.

STEP 4

VERIFY FIRESTICK SETTINGS

1. Go to Home

2. Select Settings

3. Select My Fire TV

4. Select Developer Options

Confirm the following
ADB Debugging is ON
Install Unknown Apps shows Rolle TV as ON

Note
Older Firesticks may say Apps from Unknown Sources. Leave it ON.

 

STEP 5

INSTALL ROLLE TV APP

1. Go back to Downloader

2. Select Files

3. Select Rolle TV

4. Click Install

5. Click Open

6. Choose Add Playlist

7. Select Rolle TV Network

 

STEP 6

LOGIN

1. Enter your Username

2. Enter your Password

3. Move right and click Next

4. Wait for processing on the left

5. When channels begin loading, move right and click Done

6. Wait for the Please Wait message while the app finishes loading

 

STEP 7

GENERAL SETTINGS

1. Go to Settings located at the bottom left

2. Under General, turn ON
   Last Channel on App Start
   Confirm Exit by 2nd Back Press

 

STEP 8

UPDATE PLAYLIST AND EPG

1. In Settings, go to Playlists

2. Select Update All Playlists

3. Wait for the success message

Now go to EPG Settings

Set the following
Past Days to 1
Update Interval to 4 hours
Turn ON Update on App Start

1. Click Update EPG

2. Wait until the status shows Updated

 

STEP 9

ADJUST REMAINING SETTINGS

Appearance
TV Guide
Channel Sorting set to By Name
Turn ON Two Line Channel Names
Turn ON Two Line Program Titles
Turn ON Stay on TV Guide When Switching Channels

Press Back on your remote.

Player
Channel List
Turn ON Highlight Current Programs
Turn ON Past Programs
Turn ON Stay on List When Switching

Info Panel
Turn ON Card Style
Turn ON Show Info

Display
Turn ON Clock
Set Font Size to Large

Playback
Scroll down and select Auto Frame Rate
Turn ON Enable for TV
Turn ON VOD
Turn ON Switch Screen Refresh Rate

Press Return.
Turn ON Audio Passthrough.

Other
Go to Search and turn ON
Search History
Show Favorite Channels First
Stay on Search Screen When Switching Channels

Reminders
Select Reminders
Choose Remind Before Program Start
Set to 5 minutes

 

STEP 10

START WATCHING

1. Press Return until you are back at Settings

2. Scroll UP

3. Select TV

4. Browse genres and enjoy Rolle TV Network live and on demand
